Advice and Information.

Its needs: Strong light including some direct sun. Potting mix should allow good drainage.

Care: Callisia originates from South America and enjoys warmth and humidity. Water weekly. Mist-spray in hot dry conditions. Ideally pinch out the growing tips regularly in order to maintain compact plant shape. If Callisia has become too straggly trim to a tight ball-shape.

Good for: Ideal for hanging baskets, especially favoured for deep purple winter colour. Easy to grow.
